Camera survey

I currently have 3 Canons (Rebel XT, S3 IS, point-and-shoot A530 which I carry in my purse at all times ), but I must say my broken Nikon CP 5700 has the best image quality. If only it didn't cost $250 to get my 5700 fixed...

I also love post-processing with Photoshop CS3 and a bunch of purchased-filter plugins. Such fun!!

This is a great forum, and I have watched all of Swampy's tutorials in the last couple of days! Thanks, Swampy, for teaching me so much!

I'm a Canon guy, but I'm not strict to Canon, I'd love to try out some other brands. The waterproof Olympus catches my eye.

I use a Canon 1D mkIII and I'm very happy with it! Before that I used a Canon 1V.
I also use a Canonet for my film shooting.

I have always used Canon since changing to digital. At the moment I have a 5D with 24 -105, 16 - 35 a sigma 105 macro and a sigma 70 - 200. The 5D has no built in flash so I also carry 2 580x ll speed lights.

I start my career with Nikon and a ton of fixed lenses. All film. When we start transitioning to DSLR cameras, we bought Nikons. They were junk and Nikon charged us for the software to process their files. No other manufacturer did that. We also had huge problems trying to balance the color and flesh tones. So we changed to Canon. Starting with the 10D and now using several 5Ds. We also bought Kodak 14n for use with our Nikon lenses. The Kodak collects dust now. Although these our past experiences over the last 10 years, Nikon has changed and seems to be meeting the Pro's needs better than Canon now. I am hoping Canon takes note and starts providing their loyal cadre with more pro features.

Two reasons:

1. I selected the top 10 market share brands for 2007 (2008 hasn't been published yet)
2. Even if I wanted to include other cameras, the survey tool only allows for 10 possibilities

I supposed I could have included an "other" category as the tenth possibility, but that only occurred to me after people started to vote and I did not want to change the votes that were already in place.
