I do! I do! Clicks though. Way cool! The sequence of Enceladus, one of the moons of Saturn was out of this world! Ahem. No.Really. I liked the silhouette of the skier a lot.

A feast for the eyes! Burp. 'scuse me.

Re: 2008 - The year in Photographs

This is interesting, to see how much of this photography actually does go through Photoshop at some point. Probably to the complete ignorance of news editors.

For example the shot of Ronaldinho where the caption is "for those who claim this image has been digitally altered, here is a larger detail of the photo - the halo is from backlighting, not photoshop" - The halo does look real. But that photo is certainly retouched, there is evidence of color fill, flat tones and smudging/probable cloning in the blacks over his right sleeve - using histogram and image analysis its possible to break apart these things. The exposure is 'interesting' (its probably been through RAW at least) and I'd be damn surprised if the colors haven't also been altered. That second parts just my theory, not evidence

In addition the baseball in image 14 - there is evidence of very slight fringing where the ball joins the background. Its been done well, but not quite well enough.

There's problems with more of them too.
