DxO Labs: camera sensors analysis

Once in a while someone asks "how does camera X compare to camera Y?"

Because of the differences in lenses and technology, most answers are based either on perceived experiences or, even worse, hyped marketing material.

Now enters dxomark.com claiming to be able to do the following, and I'm quoting directly from DxO Labs:

I'm glad you found and posted this link. Not only was it informative, but it settled a lot of "image peeper" issues that some photographers make into such a huge debate.

Now that I've said this, someone will come along and say they only tested one of this camera and it was a "bad" copy...etc...etc. As I said in the previous paragraph, this was informative, useful, and will help in the future.

Very interesting site... wish I knew about it before... would have been a great asset in helping decide where to spend my money. I believe most of the stats are true.
