help me decide which to enter for March

I've got two reflection pictures for the March contest.

Do you have an opinion for one or the other?

The rear-view mirror one is more of a 'reflection' (I took it at dusk while waiting for DS to finish soccer practice)

For the second the idea just popped into my head one night. I think this one of the lotus votive is actually the better picture.

Nancy, both interesting shots, but I personally prefer the flower The darker one looks a bit grainy...

I like the lotus candle better, but as you say it is not a real reflective photo.
I would keep shooting. Maybe line up something in the mirror or put the candle near water, or put it on top a mirror.
I'm still working on my entry too.

Thanks exactly what I decided to do. I'm surprised by how many pictures I take have reflections in them anyway.

Definitely the Lotus Votive. In the Soccer Mom, you cannot really see the Mom, just the car.

I like the first image but I do tend to like the more melancholy type of shots!

Thanks guys. I re-shot the votive and got a wicked reflection. My entry is in the thread.

Yeah, the colors in the 'soccer mom' picture have to be used for something, but what? </scratches head>
