| My first outdoor location shoot - advice I will be photographing an Indian model dressed in traditional ethnic bridal wear. I have a hair stylist and makeup artist working with me who will be responsible for of course the cosmetics. I am aiming to produce results similar to what Calvin Hollywood has produced but obviously I know that I am not anywhere near his technicall expertise or have access to his range of equipment. What I have to use on the day: Canon 5d MkII 24-105mm 70-300mm 50mm 70-200 f2.8 L 1 x 430ex speedlite 1 x 580 ex II speelite Pocket wizard II set Sekonic Light Meter 2 light stands with diffusion umbrella, silver reflector umbrella, lastolite reflectors silver, gold, white. I think I have most things needed to get some good results, however wondered if my lighting using the speed-lites would be adequate to produce dramatic lighting and create shadows, highlights and details adequately. This is the first time I am approaching such a project and any advice and tips and what i should look out for would be great. Has anyone else got a setup like mine? or done similar things and what were your reslutls like? thanks |
