| Re: Which is the I think you like the concorde because of the contrast. The contrast to the first plane at Kitty Hawk and the contrast to all other planes shuttling passengers around today. It was very sad to see it end. |

| Re: Which is the Hadn't seen this thread before - Palms, I LOVE that image of the Concorde, with the jet escort and the QE2! I can see why you would have liked to create that. As far as one that I would like to have created -- the first image I tried to duplicate some years ago was one by John Shaw, a master nature photographer. I went to one of his seminars, and when I saw this simple image, I fell in love with photography all over again. It helped me realize that Light was truly the main ingredient in a beautiful image. http://www.johnshawphoto.com/favorit...1047master.htm Right now, I'm thinking about trying to duplicate this image http://www.flickr.com/photos/byspice...n/photostream/ for an assignment with my photo club. Gotta scout locations to see where I could place a wine glass -- if I own a wine glass... ** I located links to a couple of others that I would have loved to have created -- http://www.pbase.com/robertl594/image/17873416.jpg Wonderful capture of relationship and great isolation of subjects from background. http://www.pbase.com/rcalmes/image/46934436.jpg Last edited by CJ Swartz; 10-29-2009 at 05:47 PM. | Re: Which is the CJ, 3 of the 4 photos you reference, details the sun. Something about that ball of fire that inspires! Since the "dawn" of man, it's been revered. Amen Ra. |

| Re: Which is the palms1 - the images you chose all show awe/wonder/respect for the subject...something admirable to portray CJ - The horse image is so jamb packed with emotion I can see why it's appealing. And the melting sun is sublime. I'm fascinated by Hendrik Kersten's "bag" at the moment. http://www.hendrikkerstens.com/ He seems to be very serious and not serious at the same time. There is nothing more interesting to me than the human face. |
