Super Moon, photographed from outside LA (non-DSLR Sony digital, zoomed to 12x max). Post-processed with the Topaz and onOne plug-in suites.

yours came out better than mine, plugs. i took quite a few till the clouds covered things up, but i found out too late that my new tripod is a piece of crap and wouldnt stand still in the low light setting. my finger on the button was just enough pressure to move the camera in the tripod and these digitals just dont have shutter release cables like my old film one. too late i remembered the two second delay feature, so all mine came out just a bit blurry. too bad; with a 26x zoom i had that moon full frame. just couldnt keep it in focus long enough for the exposure time.

Thanks! I used a large Bogen tripod I bought back in the '90s to shoot weddings. I was shooting on P at first but the moon was blown out, so I switched to M and got the right exposure immediately.

I'm glad there were clouds present to make things interesting! I think they make the shot.

I also have a pair of 20x80 binoculars I should have tried.
