we've had flooding here for weeks here now. i was actually almost cut off from going anywhere. the water was over the road on both my ways out. it's down fairly well now, but for a while there it was pretty bad. despite that, i did manage to run around and take some pictures. this one tickled me. read the sign

That's funny! Floods and snowstorms always lend themselves to such photographic juxtaposition. I took a shot for the paper back in the early '80s in a snowstorm with a theater sign that read "The Big Chill" ;-). [Ah ha, it was in 1983. Thanks Google!]

I couldn't have waited to get that shot straight to the local newspapers or TV station. They jump on that kind of thing.

It's just a matter of getting it to them first.

This is the kind of scene we see here in Florida during hurricane season. Hope you came out ok.

Another in my Ladybird series, this one is now featured on the front page of two different sites - so far it's the third one i've had featured in the sequence so i'm doing something right ha ha lol
