Re: Photographed TODAY (or Processed today) con't

Now, what about things we DIDN'T photograph today? I came across a Beatles cover band in an outdoor mall today but didn't have my camera... Their musicianship was very good but the characters themselves were almost comical! "Ringo" was almost 60 and had a large double chin; "Paul" was a head shorter than the others and "John" was about 15 years older than the real John ever got to be. Only "George" was passable. At least the guitars and bass were authentic and accurate.

I happened upon the first of their three sets, the early "suit" days. I was hoping to see their costume change for the Sgt. Pepper period but had to move on (an Abbey Road set was to follow last). There were some tie-dyed shirts hanging on a rack but no proper Pepper uniforms. And even during the first set there was a woman dressed in '60s hippy wear sitting next to "Ringo" doing percussion ("more cowbell!"), which provided an interesting visual contrast.

So, today's lesson is, always have a camera of some sort handy!

Palms - thanks! Most of the animals enjoyed the snow dumped in their areas, and the kids seemed to enjoy the snow piles given them - the snow got dirty fast, so the moms weren't as happy as the kids.

LOL! They think they're flamingos.

Looked like it - she loved picking it up and playing with it and dragging it around - I think it was still too frozen for her taste to be eaten. She was wonderful to watch, and I was so happy that I caught some good shots.

Don't you hate it when that happens!? BUT - we are lucky enough to have our own permanent camera - eyes/brain - so you still have a record of all you saw... it's just going to be hard to share your images... But your words do bring images to my mind.

Hi guys,
am feeling better after a slight bout of food poisoning - i may be back on form again as i shot this yesterday - it'll print easily at 30x20 as it's full in frame.
F:22 / 1/125 flash sync / off cam flash, white reflector and another off cam flash trained on the flower behind - took ages!!
BTW: needs looking at full size as it's larger than i normally optimize for this site..
