full body rim lighting

Hi guys,

im interested in emulating the lighting in this photo

http://lh4.ggpht.com/_gIGZ41_HGk0/Rw...on+of+Mimi.jpg

Particularly the rim lighting that covers the full body as im only able to cover the torso (at most) with 2 lights (10 inch reflectors) on either side of the subject. I presume this isnt enough?

thanks

Perhaps stripbox? each side + something behind...

Yep, you need lots of light: I would guess body-height stripboxes either side and slightly behind the model, a direct light behind her for the hair, and a softbox from above to the front for the face and upper body.

I would add to GinoE's thoughts on setup just a soft source from just left of camera axis as fill.
