When I first clicked a few, I actually thought they were he real things. These captures are awesome. Good eye and camera for sure. Thanks for sharing.

He uses a 6 meg point and shoot Sony.... There was a CBS spotlight on Assignment America which features him and how he shoots them. You can view it here ... http://www.cbsnews.com/video/watch/?...ag=mncol;lst;1

Well, I sure thought they were photos of full size places and cars - that was amazing enough for me, but to find out how he really created the town before photographing it -- that really blows me away! Those photos remind me of a world I grew up in. Thanks, OlBaldy for the link to the news story; thanks, Lyle, for pointing out that there was something going on that I didn't understand.

Those images evoke a nostalgia for a time that I never experienced (being born in '67).
To have that talent, the eye, and the patience to bring about such realism in scaled models.

The interiors are excellent. I thought hmm someone has retouched them to look really artificial (no dirt on the road or shadows) LOL. Then The pic of him sitting in front of a set is shown and suddenly they come into perspective as models , not full sized and it is an awesome revelation.
