Any best known photography forums?

When it comes to retouching related, the most informative, reliable, professional forum that is very popularly well know is obviously this place here. RetouchPRO.com

Seriously, I can't think of any other place that is more worth it.

Well, apart from retouching, photography also is my major concern. However, my photography skill is somewhat still intermediate level.

I would like any recommendation of Photography forum that is the most popular, best known toward infact everyone in this world.

Is there maybe something like .... PhotographingPRO.com???

that could give me the same feeling and information that I very much gain from here in RetouchPRO.com

Looking for forums where occasionally professional photographers interact to give advise like this place. Informative tutorials and tips.

All recommendations are welcome and very much appreciated.

Re: Any best known photography forums?

I'm not sure if there are any forum politics involved in doing this (ie, I hope all these other folks get along with RP!), but here are some useful links I have gathered. Of course you could Google for many more (IMO RP is one of the top forums and the one I check most regularly):

Luminous Landscape

NikonCafe

dpchallenge

Amateur Photographer

Etc. etc.

I like http://digital-photography-school.com/ but I am more novice than professional. They offer many tips from all levels of digital photographers.

Try looking at dpchallenge.com. It has members all over the world. They are not afraid to use Photoshop in new and different ways.. Let me know how you enjoyed the site.

Wow!!! This is amazing!!

Thank you very much from my heart for all of you above (and anyone who is about to contribute) who have provided a very useful and meaningful photography forums.

I really appreciate your kindness and time to inform me of interesting stuff out there.

Well, there are so many good ones out there that I can't make up my mind of which one I should dedicate into

DP Challenge and Luminous Landscape is very much worth considering.

However, I'm still open for more and more suggestion and recommendation as I believe alot of others might be interested to know as well.

I just forgot to mention that my interest is leaning toward Portraiture/Fashion/Glamour Photography. So any special particular place worth investigating???

Once again thank you very much

Re: Any best known photography forums?

One site that comes to mind is:
(http://forums.dpreview.com/forums) where there is a forum for most well known brands of camera - also lighting/printing/retouching etc (here is best place for retouching though)
Also particularly for fashion / glamour try the forums at:
http://www.modelmayhem.com

Re: Any best known photography forums?

I'm surprised no one has mentioned photo.net - 38 forums on one site with solid info on a wide range of photo related topics.

PhotoNet is a also a very good site (but I’d still place it seconds behind Luminous)
