Greeting to all!!

I'm new to the site, so I thought I'd introduce myself, and say hello. I just happen upon the site today, and it seems like a great place to come for conversation and information. Looking forward to the time spent, and on that note, I do have a question to ask, and hopefully someone can help.

I'm getting ready to shoot a beauty pageant and was wondering if any of you out there have been doing pageants and what type of prices do you set for something like this. I'm use to charging for the event as a whole, but it seems that this will require some type of package deals based on size of pics that they want, and the type of shooting that they want done.

I just got back a response from the pageant with a list of the different setups that the parents are interested in getting pics of their contestants.

It seem that they are wanting shots of contestants in anywhere from 1 to eight outfits, (e.g., Package A: Includes Up to Eight Poses - One in Each Competition Outfit plus One with Awards, Plus One Headshot).


I would appreciate hearing from anyone who has experience in doing pageant photography, and let me know your thoughts on the best way to do this, and what prices would be appropriate for a package like that.
