There is no way of knowing what the light is, but what is showing is a large diffusion panel. could be almost any type of light source shooting through it.

I don't know the company who makes that particular diffuser, but Mole-Richardson makes a 12X12 Overhead Type 3171 in which you can attach a Silk (diffuser) Solids (Black and White) Scrims to reduce light. The Overhead is listed in Mole's catalog, but I did not see it on their web page. They are in LA, 213-851-0111, if that number is still currant.
