crazyfly - Ha! I saw it, too, and almost got rid of it but thought maybe it was just me. Guess not.

Re: Photographed TODAY (or Processed today) con't

Sneaked up on these guys earlier this rainy afternoon. I tried to persuade the one on the right to hop over to the left a foot or so but he refused to cooperate, so I did it in post.

This is my first use of Topaz Clarity. So far, so good. Looks like a worthwhile investment. (Thanks for the discount code, Plugs.)

Both shots photographed and processed today.

First photo is of some Men's room budget cutbacks or something (repurposing phone booths as stalls-?). Not really, just a sign placed in a weird location. Post-processed with the Topaz bundle.

Second photo is Dinner With A Stranger, worked over with the new Alien Skin Exposure 5.

Nice ones, Plugs. The first one made me chuckle.

Okay, I'm cheating a little here. The bumblebee was processed yesterday but I didn't get around to uploading it. So sue me.

The other two were shot just a little while ago. A pair of phoebes built their nest under the eaves by the back steps before anybody got here and I'm sure they're not happy with the new neighbors. They go into a proper tizzy when you open the door.

The bird-on-branch shot was taken from inside peeking through the cracked-open screen door. For the other one I set up a tripod on the stoop, aimed and focused on the empty nest (hence the slightly soft bird), ran my remote cable in through the door and waited until Mom stopped freaking out long enough to come back to the nest.

Shot this a couple days ago at 11000 feet. Used to be a mining town in the late 1800's. This is all that's left.

dkcoast-I'm jealous of how you seem to be able to nail the focus on those shallow DOF shots...I usually end up focusing on the wrong thing. :-(

crazyfly - how cool is that? Really have to use your imagination to envision a town there.

I've decided to learn how PostWorkShop works or die trying.
