That's cool, especially the image in the drip "lens".

Inspiring photo, Craig.

Seeing it got me to thinking about this one, taken last summer, but processed a little while ago. It was a mess in original RAW. Thank you Adobe for ACR and Photoshop to hide the flaws!

My OM-D and I spent a couple of hours hanging out at the Como Park Conservatory in St. Paul today - oops, yesterday - took about 15 shots of this mother-daughter tableau. Priceless.

Priceless, indeed. Esp. like the BW interpretation.

Took another trip to the Conservatory for the spring flower show. Came back, probably not surprisingly, with a lot of pretty ho-hum pictures of flowers. I liked this one, though.

I took this today. It's just done with a little Kodak.

BTW Craig, I love the links.

That's a great shot! It's sunny and hot where I'm sitting...

Can you try popping the levels (ie, a bit more white)? I would also crop a bit from the left (lose the other tree peeking out) and about 25% off the bottom for a more effective square composition.

Assuming you were asking for critiques, that is ;-)

Re: Photographed TODAY (or Processed today) con't

Hi plugsnpixels,
Interesting suggestions! I did all the editing in LR. The image lightness and color are really close to what I saw when I took it.
I like the shadow because it's odd, it shouldn't be there at all there was absolutely no sun.
I cropped to the golden ratio and you are right, I should have taken it in a tad more to eliminate that tree.
I took your suggestion and I pushed the levels a little, clipped a little into the blue channel and a tiny bit of green. I did an overall adjustment rather than by channel because I didn't want to alter the color. Not sure I went far enough. Passed the point where I stopped the levels really starts to effect the snow in the foreground and the relation of lightness values between the sky and tree. Anyway, here is the fixed version.

Edit, Hmm now that that tree is gone that big empty on the left really seems to draw the eye. I wonder if I should crop closer still?
