Elements 3, Slideshow VCD photos burnt upside down and in reverse

Please help.
I've created a slideshow in Photoshop Elements 3 inc. all transitions and audio etc, which looks fine on screen.
I burn to CDR and when I play this on my DVD player connected to my TV the images are upside down and in reverse. Why is this?
I've spent hours trying to overcome this problem and wasted many CD's.
Any help to rectify this, is much appreciated.
Thanks.

If I'm not mistaken, Elements saves the slideshow as an Adobe Acrobat PDF file. The slideshow can then be viewed on any computer which has Adobe Acrobat Reader installed.

Thanks for your reply PeteyB.
I think that is if you create a Simple Slideshow it saves it as a PDF, but if you do the Custom Slideshow you can burn it to DVD or CD for showing on television.

I'm still stumped if anyone has suggestions as to why they burn upside down and in reverse, despite it looking fine on the pc screen prior to burning!

Please help!
