Re: elements 6 tutorials Hello and welcome to RetouchPRO, Diya... I feel your pain and frustration. One of the downsides of new versions is it takes a while for tutorials to show up. I'm a Photoshop user so I'm not at all familiar with Elements, but I did find a few possibilities using these key words in a Google search: "elements 6" tutorials This one looks especially promising: http://www.photoshopelementsuser.com/learningcenter/ I hope this gets you moving in the right direction.

Re: elements 6 tutorials Hi Diya: You can use any tutorials for Photoshop Elements 5 that you find on the web but best are the two sites listed above. I moved up from Photoshop Elements 5 because of a few new features. The one that made up my mind to get 6 was the new selection brush. Other than that both are about the same. New features in 6 haven't had a need for yet. More tutorials are coming out for 6 and a lot of people here will help..Good learning.

Re: elements 6 tutorials Hi Diya, I have Elements 6 and and have found about.com very useful and subscrib to their Graphic newsletter. I also recommend buying Photoshop Elements 6 THE MISSING MANUAL by Barbara Brundage. It teaches you everthing you need to know about Elements 6! It's like my bible. Keep it close by at all time. Well worth the money. Good luck. We can all learn together!

Re: elements 6 tutorials Hi: Another book that I have beside Missing Manuel is Philip Andrews "Adobe Photoshop elements 5.0 A-Z. This is not a How To book but a Description of what each and every function does and they are listed Alphabetically. Check to see if they have updated for PSE 6 yet. My 5.0 covers everything in 6.0 pretty much, any new thing can be brought up here. HTH

Re: elements 6 tutorials I don't know if this really applies to this thread. Hi all I have not been on here because i had to get a new password , I noticed alot of posts on here are kind of old, do alot of people use PSE , I am onlly using this because it is only what I could afford , I also find this is really all i need , i find Photoshop CS has too much and the cost of it is alot of money . My question is PSE good enough or if you shoot professional do you really need Photoshop CS to do Photo restoration these 2 software editing programs the same thing except photoshop has more tools to work with and you don't have as many options for those particular tools in PSE, I was using Photoshop 3.0 to 7.0 and I find PSE very similar to earlier versions of Photoshop.

Re: elements 6 tutorials Was using both Paint Shop Pro 9 and PE 4.. Just bought PE 8 and am using it more every day. May not give up Paint Shop Pro for a while (if at all) but there is some very nice stuff in 8. I found out from a strictly Photoshop user that they are similar and most of the time it is easy to use PE for Photoshop tutorials etc. Also a lot of Photoshop actions will work in PE 8. Photoshop is a bit out of my price for a hobby. PE8 is about $70.00 at Best Buy. Steve C.
