Photoshop Elements 2.0 - installing actions?

Hi there! I am new on this forum and it seems really nice! I have been having a bit of trouble with installing actions into Elements 2.0, though; I have followed all the instructions on the website http://www.earthboundlight.com/photo...ts-curves.html, including deleting the List Cache and pasting the Earthbound Light folder into my Effects folder. However, when I open up Elements again, the folder is nowhere to be found! I use Windows Vista. Is there any way I can use actions like curves and selective coloring in Elements? Thank you so much for your help! (Sorry if this question has already been asked before, or if I am in the wrong section!)

I am in a photoclub in our neighborhood and will be teaching a class on what actions do and are. I have CS2, so no problem, actions work there well, but many, many in the club have Elements 6. How do I (easily) tell them how to download compatible actions for their use????

The 'easiest' is to get actions made for Elements. Not a lot of people do it. I have hiddenelements.com, but because of legal and publishing issues have held back a bit. I hope to have things rolling again sometime soon.

Isn't buying a student book that comes with a student (fully functional) version of photoshop cheaper than photoshop?
