PSE 6.0 SlideShow Editor

I am having difficulty creating a slideshow where the images are sharp.
I have downloaded photos from my camera into the Organizer and made no changes. The pixel dimensions of the images are 3072 x 2048. In the Organizer the Full Screen view is sharp (Display > View Photos in Full Screen). When I take those same images and create a slideshow using the Slide Show Editor, the images in the "Full Screen Preview" are not sharp and have ragged edges.
I have found nothing the "The Missing Manual" about this.
Can anyone give me some help.

Thanks for the website suggestion.
It looks like it is necessary to get another Adobe program, Premiere Elements, in order to solve the problem. Spending another $100 for the program then going through a complicated sounding process to get the images from Photoshop Elements to Premiere Elements doesn't sound like something I want to try just to create a slideshow.
Does anyone have any suggestions for creating a slideshow with images in Photoshop Elements 6.0?
