Photoshop Elements Help - - Installation problem Elements6

Tried installing Elements6 on XP. Power outage interrupted original installation. When I started the process again, everything proceeded normally until a message "Insert disk 1: " appeared, although disk was in drive. When I hit "OK" button, message keeps repeating and nothing else happens.

I have attempted to delete all traces of previous installation attempt and start again, but the same thing keeps happening.

Would be very grateful for any help...seems impossible to get a response from Adobe site.

Try the Windows Installer CleanUp Utility:

How about a System Restore?

Tried system restore to various highlighted dates, but on re-start, got message that system could not be restored to any of the dates I tried.
