| CMYK in elements 3, is it workable ? I need to deal with cmyk for our print advertising. Using the hiddentools pluggin is it just a workaround to get cmyk files into elements or is it actually a proper workable solution, with the pluggin can I start with a photoshop cmyk, do my editing and output a cmyk without converting to rgb ? All my files are currently photoshop7 cmyk, I dont want to convert to rgb as I assume the black channel is lost ? |

| Re: CMYK in elements 3, is it workable ? Sorry I missed this question. CMYK comes in different types of files. Some will be more friendly to what you want to accomplish. But if they are already CMYK, why do you want to convert them to CMYK? I would really want to start with an RGB file and then convert out of RGB to CMYK. If you start with CMYK you are already starting with a limited color set. If you can clarify that workflow, I can help some more... |
