Orbs on digital photos On some of my digital photos taken with the flash I get what some people call orbs. I'm trying to remove them with elements 3. But I'm having trouble. Does anyone know a good way to do this? John K

Post an image showing your problem, and I'm sure you'll get the help you need. It's hard to give a specific answer, as each case usually differs slightly, and therefore what works in one case will not necessarily work in another.

In this case, I just cloned it out, always clone on a new layer, that way if you make any mistakes you can just erase them and start again. Lastly, I created a new layer, set blend mode to colour, and sampled skin colour on the womans head and painted on her forehead to even out colour a little. Hope this helps, and welcome to Retouch Pro. If anything's not clear, or you need further help, don't hesitate to ask. Last edited by Gary Richardson; 02-11-2005 at 02:34 AM.
