Need more info/further clarification on "none of them do."

Do you mean when you drag/drop a folder or individual files onto the droplet icon and
a) Nothing happens
b) You get unexpected results (What, specifically?)
c) Something else?

More questions:
* What version of Photoshop?
* Are you experiencing the same symptoms with droplets other than these?
* You didn't by chance upgrade from PS7 to CS or CS2 in the last few days, did you?

~Danny~

The droplet is on the desktop. Mac os10.3.9, PSCS(had it since it first came out). Added cs2 but it was closed when I created droplets and was closed when they DID and DIDN'T work and haven't really used it at all.

Dropped image on psd to tiff droplet. CS showed up with that image and it APPEARED to be working. Checked the TIFF folder where the image was supposed to land and it was empty. Did a search on my computer and couldn't find the new Tiff image version anywhere.

Hmmm... that's odd. Under Windows if you install a new version of Photoshop, dropets engage the most current version. Dunno how MacOS knows what version to run.

More questions:
* The problems did not start right after installing CS2, right?
* Have you tried deleting a faulty droplet and creating it from scratch?

Other things to check:

1. There were no files in the source folder to begin with.

Corrective action: Populate it with files.

2. You checked Source option “Override Action ‘Open’ Commands”, but the action does not contain an Open command or an Open command is present, but the Enable/Disable control is unchecked.

Symptom: Check the errors file. There may be a message for each image indicating a command (the first in the action) not being available.

Corrective action: Uncheck option “Override Action ‘Open’ Commands”

3. You checked Destination option “Override Action ‘Save as’ Commands”, but the action does not contain either a Save or Save as… command.

Symptom: Check your errors text file. There may be a message for each image indicating a command (the first in the action) not being available.

Corrective action: Uncheck option “Override Action ‘Save as’ Commands”

4. You did not check Destination option “Override Action ‘Save as’ Commands”, but the action does in fact contain either a Save or Save as… command.

Corrective action: Check option “Override Action ‘Save as’ Commands”

CS and CS2 were BOTH installed when making droplets. Only CS was open.
Sounds like I need to just redo them all. Thanks. I'm going to print your helpful hints.

Well, Danny, I found the 'missing' tiffs. They were in buzz Simplifier. Sheesh.

So it's mandatory to check all the droplet 'fill in the blanks' BEFORE you drop????

Attached is screen shot. Evidently, the droplet dialogue automatically picks up whatever the last action that was used.I'm confused. I thought droplets were to help workflow. Which blank did I do wrong?
