| Agree with Pete. If a font is in your ~/Library/Fonts folder, it should automatcally appear as a choice in the font drop down menu in Photoshop . Macs can use either True Type or PostScript fonts, preferably the latter for best quality. For PostScript fonts, check in your ~/Library/Fonts folder to make sure you have BOTH the screen and print font installed (u need something that looks like a suitcase AND something with an icon on it). True Type fonts require only one for both screen & printing. Another check might be to try to use the font in another program, like Word or a page layout program (Quark, InDesign). Does the font show up there AND does it print well? If not, your font is probably corrupted and you will need to find another copy to install. U might also try using a font utility (like Font Dr. or Font Agent) to run a check on all your fonts. Hope this helps.
