Smile Why does Adobe Bridge Open .jpgs in Illustrator?

We have just started using Photoshop CS2 with Windows XP. We are trying to learn how to use the new file browser Adobe Bridge. We have Photoshop CS2 open, clicked on Adobe Bridge button, double-clicked a .jpg and it opens in Illustrator instead of Photoshop. I tried changing the file association but that did not work. I'm completely baffled. We can get the .jpgs to open in Photoshop with File > Open, but we want to be able to use Bridge. Any suggestions?

Thanks,
csjwolfe

Found the answer to file association issue

I found the answer to my own question - there are Preferences for Bridge that override Windows file associations. In Bridge the default file association for .jpg was Illustrator, which is really odd to me, but... I was able to change it to Photoshop and now it works.
