Haven't used PS6, but I should imagine it's the same as altering size in PS7 (which I use).

Hit the left sq bracket [ to decrease size, and the right sq bracket ] to increase brush size.

Hit shift and [ to increase softness of brush, and shift plus ] to harden brush.

Hope this helps.

Gary.

Thanks, Gary, I tried that and my brush size stays the same. I wonder if PS6 doesn't have that feature? Or there may a less-common method in 6.

Maureen

Sorry it didn't work with PS6.

Hopefully someone will come along who has experience with PS6 and can help.

Good luck.

Gary.

I checked, I still have 6 installed on one of my older PC's and it has the same 2 methods, [ and ] step up in increments 1 through 10 then between 10 and 100 in increments of 10. Between 100 and 200, increments of 25. 200 to 300 increments of 50 and beyond this in increments of 100. The , and . keys will step up and down the presets, but the brush MUST be on a preset size to work e.g. 1, 3, 5, 9 etc if it was on 10 then these will not work. also if you use the [ and ] to move to a preset the , and . keys will not function so you need to select one from the menu or a work around (not great) is use "shift + ," to go to the start of the preset brush library then increments work.
