Unable to select Luminosity

Hi everyone,
I was reading another post in which someone helpful mentioned one of my favorite tricks. That is to use the Ctrl/Cmd Alt/Opt Tilde shortcut to select Luminosity.

My problem is that I've started a new job and am restoring a bunch of pictures in a hurry and the photoshop (CS) they've installed on the machine I'm using seems to be missing this excellent command. I've never run across a computer that this command didn't work on....until now. Has anyone else had that happen? Does anyone know how I can get it set up so this command works on the new computer? I really miss this handy shortcut.

Thanks,
Foxkatt

GREAT!!! That should work. I'll try it out on the computer in question this Tuesday when I'm at that job.

Still wish I could get the easy keyboard shortcut on it to work but at least this may be a workaround.

Many thanks Delic!

On my computer I have to use CTRL+Alt+Shift, to select luminosity, because the tilde is above the # key
