adobe bridge

I am using cs2 and adobe bridge. when i put a memory card into my card reader and use bridge to veiw the pics. every thing works fine untill i try to delete the pics from the memory card then I get the error mesage "the handle is invalid" this doesn't happen every time but more often than not .when It happens the only way to delete the pics is to use the camera and delete them or to reboot he system and try angain.I've had no luck with Adobe on this one. just wondering if anyone else had run across a similar problem
thanks

I'm surprised it works sometimes, as Bridge is not supposed to ever delete images on memory cards. And memory card manufacturers recommend deleting image via reformat for best integrity, so it's probably just as well.

I normally do reformat the memory cards when I reload them into the camera just as a habit that I have started but some times I want to delete single pics from the card. but at least now i know that its not a problem with the program . Thanks Doug

The common denominator for "all" memory card corruption I have encountered, is directly attributable to erasure of images via software rather than reformating the card in the camera...skip
