Question Problem with Magnetic Lasso Tool

I must have push a wrong key or somthing but my Magnetic Lasso Tool, when making a selection, places a box every 1/16", or so, of an inch. What do I do to go back to normal.

Hope that this is clear

Re: Problem with Magnetic Lasso Tool

hi,
sounds like the "frequency" is very high
look there above the picture and there should be box labeled "frequency" (when magnetic lasso selected) yours is probably showing 80-90..... just replace the values to something like 20 or 30 .... that should get it back in the ballpark on what it was...

Thanks. All is now ok. Funny how things happen and you have no idea as to what caused it, or more important, how to rectify it.

Once again, thanks.

Re: Problem with Magnetic Lasso Tool

You're right. We do learn quite a bit when things screw up. My problem is that if it happens again in a couple of weeks I don't remember how I corrected it in the first place. In any event Photoshop is a great hobby. Wouldn't exchange it for any program.

Thanks again.
