Arrow How to optimize Batch Processing for speed!

Hello!

Trying to compile a list of ways to speed up actions/scripts in Photoshop.

Here's a few I've found in the Photoshop Bible:

Turn down image cache: ctrl+k then ctrl+8 and then set image cache number to 1.

Shut off History palette Snapshot: History Palette> History Options> Deselect create first snapshot check box.

If anyone knows of any other tricks or tips please share with all of us having to process thousands of images a day, you are not alone!

A few more, although I timed them... made a very small difference:

Close all palettes.

In the Action menu, set Action Playback to Accelerated.

See this recent thread at Adobe.com...

I think registration is required at Adobe.com, but worth it in this case... Lots of good info to consider (too much to simply summarize).
