Working with .Movs in ImageReady

Ok,
I have made some Sigs with Movies.
This is the Link to what Ive been doing.
http://www.webdesign.org/web/photosh...res.10176.html
Ive made a few but for some reason cant do it any longer.
Let me Explain:
It has to be a .Mov file not a problem then I right click on the Mov and open with ImageReady. I get the Program opened in ImageReady but cant seem to get the slide bar too appear. I can click on select range only and the Limit to every 2, But No slide bar on bottom of movie appears. If I move the mouse outa the box it is showing the Hour Glass so I know something is suppose to be working or trying too work. If I click ok I get it finalized and a black screen with nothing to play. Naturally if I click cancel it cancels.
Is there a Setting somewhere that I need to change. Ive even gone asfar as Crashing my computer and doing a full Reinstall of CS2 and everything. Still Nothing. Ive even clicked on the .Mov's so they opened in Quicktime to insure that they do play and yes I get sound and Movie just like normal.
I have 2 gigs of Ram so shouldnt be lagging on me.
Any Help will be appreciated.

Thanks
Frogger (Wally)

Re: Working with .Movs in ImageReady

sometimes QT can play a mov file but it may not recognise the soundtrack, i often run into this problem when trying to export as an mp4 file...that may not be your issue here but i can't think of anything else...can you supply the file you're using and i can try it later from home...

Re: Working with .Movs in ImageReady

ok, you obviously have QT installed......only thing I can think of is that either you have a different version of IR, than in the tut, or there is a plugin that he is using

Re: Working with .Movs in ImageReady

i was able to get the whole clip to show up in IR, just open the mov file in QT, and save as a mov file to a different folder, i don't have the time right now to figure out why that works but it seems to do the trick...
