| Re: opacity shortcut in photoshop for my reasons, when doing design work, i often duplictae many shape layers on top of one another, i like to combine many different layer effects, but don't want the layer to keep getting heavier/darker (especial with transparencies), so i turn the fill to 0%, but leave the opacity at 100% so only the layer's "layers effects" show through.
for example, comes in handy when doing logos with lets say, a look that makes it feel like it's made of glass. |
