| | | Re: Photoshop 7.0.1 Hey fhockey... Welcome to RetouchPRO. Nice going on your first thread. You did just fine.
I'm a PC guy, but I did a quick Google search on: "Photoshop 7" Mac os 10.4.11
just to see what would come up...
Looks like some (but not all) folks are having various issues with this combination of Photoshop and Mac OS. Sorry I don't know enough about Macs to decipher the lingo in order to suggest a fix or workaround. Hope this gets you going in the right direction. |

| | | Re: Photoshop 7.0.1 FHockey... did you try running Photoshop under a new (different) user account? Repaired permissions? Although the error reports at loading TWAIN, it could be any loading procedure before that, but given Twain, you may want to remove all files containing the word TWAIN, reboot and try running Photoshop again. If that does work, reinstall your scanner driver (TWAIN is the scanner driver). |

| | | Re: Photoshop 7.0.1 I didn't know you needed 'drivers' on Macs... thought that was only a PC hassle. Anyway, thanks for jumping in Swampy. |

| | | Re: Photoshop 7.0.1 Danny, some things do need drivers in order to access their special or unique features. Printers and Scanners being among them. Apple provides printer drivers for just about any printer on the market, but not for scanners. Now, USB devices such as external drives, Midi connections, cameras, bluetooth devices, WIFI etc. are handles by the Operating System. |
