Re: Remove Brightness From Camera Flash

Welcome to RetouchPRO, MDW46. Perhaps if you provide a sample folks can make suggestions based on the condition of your photo.

Go to THIS PAGE to read how to upload a graphic.

Re: Remove Brightness From Camera Flash

Just have time for a quickie. But I duplicated the layer then ran Photoshop Shadow/Highlight
Probably needs more cleanup, but some of the detail is back.

Re: Remove Brightness From Camera Flash

My attempt at adjusting the face:

copied background (deselected it)
cropped
Multiplied a bunch then select all>copy merged.. Paste.. added a hide all mask.. copied background... painted face white on the hide all mask previously made.. merged visible layers
copied.. made the copy multiply
merged
Painted face with flesh tones on color layer
then painted flesh tones on normal layer and lowered opacity
finished off with a coat of white paint at 2% flow on face because it was flat
