Re: Downloading Actions Danny is the man to tell you how to do it properly but in the mean time what i do is just drag it ( unzipped, from either the desk top or documents depending where you have put it ) onto the work space in ps and drop it, it is then in the list for use Palms

Re: Downloading Actions nebgranny, The action should be in your photoshop action folder now. Should work too, always remember whenever you do anything new to photoshop you need to close and reopen ps for it to take effect. btw, it works if you drop the action onto the ps icon on your desktop and saves you shutting down ps.

Re: Downloading Actions Thank you for the info on shutting down photoshop. The play or run action buttonis greyed out? What is going on with that? I am going to shut it down and reopen in a minute. Hope it will let me run the action then. Thanks again!! Neb

Re: Downloading Actions Palms and crazyfly1: Thanks ever so much. It worked!! I did what you suggested Palms, then shut down and re-opened like you suggested crazyfly1 and got the action to work. I appreciate both responses. Blessings Neb

Re: Downloading Actions Did not want to post a new thread when I already had this one posted on the same subject. I have used actions before but they seemed simple, load and then play and they did all the work. RIGHT? Well my friend put me onto an action for sharpening eyes to make them pop. I have downloaded the action and now do not have a clue how to use it. I would ask her , however she is busy moving into her new home so will post for some help here. How do actions work ? This one is a mile long?? she said to select brush and run over eyes? I do that and they eye turns black? I am really confused about actions and their use? Can someone try and explain. I did a search and did not get any results. Thanks Neb
