| Camera Raw in Photoshop I am trying to open a camera raw image in Photoshop CS3 on a Mac and whether opening it through Bridge or directly in Photoshop itself, I get the same message: "Could not complete your request because Photoshop does not recognize this type of file". I googled "opening camera raw files in Photoshop CS3" and a tutorial came up that said I could choose "open in camera raw" through Bridge, make whatever changes I wanted, then open the file in Photoshop, but Bridge doesnt give me the option of opening in camera raw at all. Does anyone have any suggestions? help! Thanks! |

| Re: Camera Raw in Photoshop Usually when you get this message it means that the version of Camera Raw does not have the conversion table for the particular camera model you have. This is quite normal because new camera models come out faster than Adobe can keep up with them. The first thing you should do is run Update from PS menu or go to Adobe.com and update to the latest version of Camera Raw. That should solve your problem. If it doesn't. come back here. | Re: Camera Raw in Photoshop You could also download Adobe DNG converter. I've had to do that with my 40D |
