Document size v Pixel Dimensions

Hello all,

Simple (I'm simple ...) question:
What's the exact relationship between pixel dimensions and document size - are they just different measurements of the same thing? How do they affect one another?

Cheers

Manfred

Re: Document size v Pixel Dimensions

Pixel dimensions are your XY dimensions of the file - lets say 4500 by 6000 pixels. This is directly related to file size (document size). The higher the pixel dimension, the larger the file size.

Document measurements (inches, millimeters whatever) are arbitary, can be assigned to anything, and are completely unrelated to the above.
