Zoom levels in CS4

I've read and seen tutorials on CS4 that say the image will look smooth at all zoom levels...fixing the problem from previous versions where only 25, 50, 100% etc were truly representative of the image.

That's all well and good but it doesn't work for me. I still see 'jaggies' when at zoom levels like 33%, 66% and other random levels.

I looked for a setting/prefference to turn this on but I couldn't find any.

Is it possibly a 32 bit/64 bit issue?

Re: Zoom levels in CS4

Hi Big Mike -

I have the same issue. I am running a 32-bit system. It may also have something to do with our displays. I am running 1280 pixels X 1024 pixels on my Dell Trinitron 21" screen.

Preferences/performance - enable Open GL - make sure this is on. If it is on, your graphics card should be resampling the image on the fly to display it correctly. If its not, its got nothing to do with 32 bit, its more likely a graphics card issue - an incompatible graphics card
