Photoshop CS4 "Save for web" Problem -Urgent

Hello everyone,

I'm making a template in photoshop cs4 and when I save for web, I wanted all my output images to be PNG or JPG. But no matter what file output I choose, they always save as multiple file types, such as a few spliced images will be saved as .jpg, and some as .gif, when I didn't choose gif as an output..

Why is this? It is really messing things up for me.

Thank you,
Terrence
