| Re: Brush and Feather Resizing shortcut keys Depends on which version of PS you are using. For all versions of PS prior to CS4 the shortcut for Feather is Ctrl+Alt+D. For CS4, Adobe decided to change a whole bunch of the most commonly used shortcuts to make them consistent with other applications in the CS suite. So the shortcut for feather in CS4 is Shift+F6. You can also asign a custom key sequence of your own choosing. To change the brush size, simply select the brush tool and right click your mouse and a window will appear allowing you to change the brush properties. Regards, Murray |

| Re: Brush and Feather Resizing shortcut keys If you're using Photoshop CS3 and earlier, brush size is controlled by the bracket keys. Softness, if that's what you mean by feathering, is controlled with shift+bracket. Right bracket goes bigger/harder, left bracket goes smaller/softer. CS4 did change those shortcuts to something else. Perhaps the tut you were watching was done on CS4? |

I'm on a Mac and this still works for me in CS4. For me, on OSX and CS4, Ctrl+Opt click and drag affects brush size. Ctrl-Opt+Cmd click and drag affects feather. Oh, and the bracket keys and shift+bracket shortcuts still work for me too. |
