Liquify over 600pic loading for 1minute

Maybe its becouse 600pic+ is made for 64bit system. Maybe not. When i want to use bigger brush in Liquify it freeze for a minute or two. Do somebody has some clue? thank you

I have no clue what 600pic+ is.. but I use feathered selections of the areas I want to work on and just Liquify the selections separately.. that way there is much less image to work with and process..

If you like big Liquify brushes you might be interested in getting brushes up to 9000 brush size as discussed in this thread

Downsize the image to 72 dpi - run the liquify filter (you'll find big brushes) SAVE THE MESH - go back in history to your original size, load the image in liquify, load the mesh - done!

Takamoko, I recall there being a warning from Adobe with the 1st release of PSCS4 that the Liquify tool would function like that with brushes > 64 px. I believe this bug was corrected with the update 11.01. Do you have the latest update?

Uncheck the Show Backdrop box in the Liquify window. If that doesn't work, follow the Godmother's suggestion.

Select an area and work only on it as a copy on a new layer - this is easier for your coputer to handle the tool and large files.
