Filling in Text with Colours PS - Gradient Fill?

Hi there
Was wondering if anyone knows how to "fill in" a font with colours like a gradient fill. Im creating a Ben 10 birthday themed invite for my son and would like to recreate the Ben 10 font filled in with green and yellow per the Ben 10 logo (http://www.toysrfun.co.nz/contents/m...if)...I've got the font style as Badaboom and I've managed to fill it in green but I can't get that 2nd colour in and also to get it to blend the way it does on the logo?
I want to type out his name in this font with the same colour effect.
Any advice or help would be greatly appreciated, I'm using Photoshop CS3!

Panda, welcome to RetouchPro. Your link does not work, even after I extracted the valid portion of it. If I understand what you are trying to do, then what you need to do is select the Horizontal Text Mask Tool. That is the 3rd tool you see when you activate the contect menu by clicking and holding down the Text tool in the tool bar. Go ahead and type whatever you want the color doesn't matter because when you finish typing and hit the ctrl+enter, you will see only a selection in the shape of the text. Simply apply your gradient to it.

Panda, I had already extracted that part of the link. It did not work and still does not. If the file is at that URL, there may be an issue with permissions.
