oval photo borders

Info please. I cannot remember how to place a border ( 2 px ) around an oval image that I cut from a larger photo. I want to move the image with border if possible to another image.
I know this is basic, but I cannot remember how to do this.

There are certainly a number of different ways, depending on your task at hand. The easiest may be:
- double click the layer, use a layer blending option.. such as inner shadow, stroke, etc.

TommyO, thank you very much for the quick reply. I tried using the "stroke" option, which works fine. I just couldn't remember how to do this. Senior Moment !
