action for batch processing of Photoshop files

I am afraid I know an answer, but still, may be I am wrong.

Would it be possible to make a photoshop action that allow for batch processing of PDS files i.e. open a file, add a text layer, save and close.....pereferably without going too far in Java Script.

Pavel, a simple Photoshop Action should do that with no problem - no need to write any code or Jave Script.
