Tools in actions

Hi!

I want to make few new actions for my skin healing workflow. I can make a action which selects one layer.But I also want that same action will select a tool also. Is it even possible include tool(for example 150px brush with 0% hardness) selection in action?

If I remember correctly this did not happen in CS3 (as I have tried it in the past), but now in CS4 actions appear to record tool selections.

I'm guessing you have CS3 or older?

You could record a tool preset into your action (ps7-cs5).

Pick a painting tool and set your brush options and make a new tool preset.

When your record your action, record the loading of the tool preset
and the selecting of the tool preset.
