| Hi All - I just got CS5. When I click an image window to minimize it, it disappears off the workspace. I can go into Window menu and bring it back up, but I seem to remember CS4 put the minimized images as a small bar in the workspace. Is there a way to do that in CS5? Thanks. | Re: Minimized images In CS5 in the default settings the windows become tabs which are docked at the top of the monitor above the tool bar. You can change the view to float from the window menu. Regards, Murray |

| Re: Minimized images Hi Murray - Thanks. I already do have the windows floating. When I may need a color or something from an image window already opened, and then I minimize it, it used to start stacking up at the left bottom of the Photoshop windows screen. Now, I don't see anything at the bottom of the screen. Could they be off-screen? How do I get them to show above the task bar? Thanks. Gary |

| Re: Minimized images Gary, I don't know the answer to that question, but you can bring the image back onscreen with just the "f" keystroke for changing the screen modes. I always use the tabbed interface, so I had to try your situation - mine vanished from the screen also. Don't know where they hide it... but it comes back fast with the "f". I prefer the tabs so far. Update: Hmm, that works ONLY with one image on your workspace at a time. With multiple images, I had to go to Window to retrieve the minimized images - couldn't even use the Arrange Documents to tile them or show them. Update of update - Control+Shift+A will consolidate all your open windows into tabs (not what you want, but it brings it back from "wherever") Murray will probably have the answer - I'm sticking with tabs, just to keep it easy. | Re: Minimized images Hi Again Everybody - I think I have found the answer. In Win 7, the images are each available in the Windows taskbar when hovering the cursor over the Photoshop Icon. You get a thumbnail of each one open, even if minimized. You bring them up by clicking on the one you want. I guess that way, they are not covered by the main open image. Thanks for all the suggestions. Gary |

| Re: Minimized images I knew that! Didn't think of it as part of the answer, though. (duh) Good solution for you, by you! |
