| Re: Problems with assign profile Go to Edit > Color Settings. You have 3 choices. You should choose the 2nd option to Preserve Embedded Profiles otherwise if the doc you are opening contains an embedded profile it will be discarded when you save your edited file. OFF New documents and existing untagged documents remain untagged. Existing documents tagged with a profile other than the current working space open a warning alert before becoming untagged. Existing documents tagged with the current working space profile remain tagged. For color data imported into a document using the same color mode, color numbers are preserved. For all other Preserve Embedded Profiles New documents are tagged with the current working space profile. Existing documents tagged with a profile other than the current working space remain tagged with the original embedded profile. Existing untagged documents use the current working space for editing but remain untagged. For color data imported within the same color mode between either a non-color-managed source or destination, or from a CMYK document into a CMYK document, color numbers are preserved. For all other import cases, colors are converted to the documents color space. Another comment regarding your action. If you have your Profile Mismatch / Missing Profile warning boxes checked, and you run your action in Batch mode, you will need to instruct the batch not to ignore the dialog box on the Open command otherwise the action will stop and wait for you to select one of the color management policies. | Re: Problems with assign profile Hi You should always have colour management on, otherwise you will have problems with printing etc. I think what is happening is that DPP is working in ARGB, and somehow PS is assigning sRGB. I would suggest the following settings for Edit>Color Settings: http://www.secalis.co.uk/Files/ScreenShot012.jpg You could also use 'Preserve Embedded Profiles' . You should also make sure 'Embed ICC Profile' is ticked in the DPP 'Convert and Save' dialog box. Brian |

| Re: Problems with assign profile I have reinstalled a PS. Now everything is ok but only in case that DPP working in sRGB (standard settings) and PS in calibrated monitor settings. |

| Re: Problems with assign profile Actually its not OK, it just matches. You never want RGB or CMYK mystery meat (data without an embedded profile) if your goal is to preview them correctly. That the two matched only shows both products were equally incorrect in producing a preview. Untagged documents are always a problem within ICC aware (color managed) application! |
