| difference between clone stamp and healing brush Hey, im new to retouching pictures. I've used photoshop for a long time, but learning retouching has given me a lot more tools to use. The clone stamp and the healing brush seem to be pretty similar and i can't figure out what the difference is found the answer to my own question. Here is a video that explains it http://www.youtube.com/user/IceflowS.../4/OGX15p8lXHk clone stamp tool does an exact copy of where you cloned from healing brush does the exact same thing, except for it blends the edges when its done. For a lot of cases that would be better, but for things like hair and straight lines it wouldn't work so well since it would noticably soften the edges where you don't want Last edited by j4str; 12-20-2010 at 07:02 PM. |
