"discard hidden layers?" don't ask. DO IT!

When I flatten an image in PS and some layers are turned off a message appears asking me if I want to discard hidden layers. Fair enough but is there a way to avoid this message? I want to flatten the image and discard hidden layers without having to press OK to the message.
Thanks in advance.

OK is the default so if you just hit the Enter key on the keyboard you will not have to mouse over to the OK button.

It does at least need a "don't ask me again" checkbox, but I can't be bothered to submit a request to Adobe...

One scenario might go like this; from force of habit you trash several hidden layers that wind up being crucial for whatever reason. Better to just hit enter and move on.

I now just hit return automatically without even thinking about it.
When going to Layers > Flatten Image, I've never wanted to retain any of the hidden layers. Have any of you? (If so, then making the question optional would be OK i think.)

When just merging some layers, sure; but then "Flatten Image" is not the intent...

I use Fundy workflow script. There is a "save and next" button that I have customized to flatten the image before saving. When you are working with hundreds of images it becomes quite tedious to push the save and next button and then have to hit enter each time before the script can continue with its thing.
Hence my question.

Hmm... I don't remember it asking me about it when i use "flatten image" as part of an action. I'm not really familiar with scrips, but perhaps you can customize the script to not ask, or to click the button for you?

Michael
If you record an action with just Layer>Flatten Image and click the 'OK' button, the 'OK' will be recorded. Running the action or clicking the action button will flatten the image without getting the dialog box.
